For this remodel the homeowners requested a full featured, spacious Master Bath. Therefore, a frame-less, glass-enclosed steam shower and jacuzzi tub present the luxury of a day spa. Additionally, Travertine tile, custom cabinets, granite tops and top-of-the-line fixtures were the finishing touches.

Living Green

Natural lighting and fast renewable material resources were important aspects of this project. The cabinets in the kitchen and the bathroom are of a finished bamboo. The lighting fixture, suspended over the dining room table, has a bamboo structure with LED lighting and low voltage further suspended lighting. The door leading from the dining room into the office is made of bamboo and clouded glass.  The sleek look of the kitchen came from the vision of the homeowner. This home is now a sleek beauty with well organized spaces and energy conscious products.

Outdoor Living with Fire Place

This outdoor kitchen/ entertainment area blends beautifully with the existing home. The Kiva fireplace was designed on site to replicate the existing fireplace in the the living room. A barbecue grille was built into the stack-stone and granite counter. Color concrete brings warmth into the project. The design and proximity to the mountains make it an ideal outdoor living space. This beautiful expansion to the exterior allows the homeowner to step out into nature with all the comforts of home.

" Photo Courtesy: Kirk Gittings "Jade Enterprises recently completed a major addition to our home. The complexity of the addition was increased by the unusual geometry of our house combined with our location on the western foothills of the Sandia Mountains adjacent to a large arroyo. The Jade architect provided a very innovative design with maximum views within strict space restrictions. The addition was completed within 10% of the original contract price despite the difficult location and some minor changes that we chose to make during construction. The project was bid with top-notch performance (subcontractors, suppliers, materials, in-house expertise and supervision) in the original contract price. Jade made remodeling a pleasant experience, considering the difficult task they undertook. The use of a top notch, full time on-site working construction supervisor for the duration of the effort was a huge plus. Because of their superb performance, we intend to use Jade in 2011 to remodel our kitchen. We are totally satisfied with the addition and highly recommend Jade." ~Mr. and Mrs."
