The
home owners initially wanted a large dining area for family gatherings and
entertaining, but the scope of the project was inlarged during the design
stage to encompass the living area.
Architect Berry Langford connected new
interior and exterior spaces to the existing box-like home at a 45-degree
angle to create movement and open the existing home to the newly added space.
Stuccoed walls were run continuously through from inside to outside to further
obscure the difference between interior and exterior.
